It is today you know. Yesterday is in the wastebasket of the psyche and tomorrow, well, what will tomorrow be? One should consider that time, yesterday, today, tomorrow, does not actually exist other than in our brains which are geared to follow sun and moon. This behavior is called, “rote.”
Were we to take a quick Uber ride to, say, Jupiter would we concern ourselves with what tomorrow may bring? Probably, you say, we would be dead on Jupiter. Well, is tomorrow going to be any different on the earth as it would be on Jupiter? But for our physical bodies being starved of oxygen, probably not. You cannot have it all and still be alive you know?
But, what is it to be dead? Jesus calls it “sleep.” That is because He has power over life and death. Just ask Lazarus. But even Lazarus died, eventually which makes his death times two. Perhaps all of this occurred on Jupiter? It might seem so if we read adventure novels or science fiction mysteries. There is a book, however, that many call fiction but is a book that saves lives on earth. Indeed, it allows those who follow it to have eternal lives on earth. Do you know the name of this amazing book? Have you ever even opened its covers and perused it for more more than a few minutes? No. Then you may just be open to the opening of that book for the sake of your eternity.
You cannot live on Jupiter and there is a reason for this. You weren’t meant to live on Jupiter. You were meant to live on earth. Sounds plebeian does it not? Not if you open the book.
